The Game
The Coyotes are back on the road as they travel to Omaha to face the Mavericks on Feb. 15 inside Baxter Arena.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on the Summit League Network available via the Midco Sports Plus app. Fans can also tune into the game on the Coyote Sports Network with John Thayer on KVHT 106.3 FM in Yankton/Vermillion, KQSF 95.7 in Sioux Falls, or by using the Varsity Network app.

The Coyotes
South Dakota (10-15, 3-7 Summit) heads back out on the road after an exciting overtime win over Denver in Vermillion on Feb. 8.

Bostyn Holt led the Coyotes with 27 points and was one of four Yotes to score in double-figures.
Lahat Thioune added 19 points in 80 percent shooting from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.
Paul Bruns returned to the starting lineup and put up 18 points with four three pointers to tally his third-straight double-digit scoring game.
Max Burchill rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11, including two big free throws in overtime.

Lahat Thioune is the 20
th-leading rebounder in the NCAA (236 rebounds) and the 11
th-leading offensive rebounder (3.8 rpg). His 10 double-doubles rank 23
rd nationally and he has four more double-doubles than any other Summit player.

The Mavericks  Â
Omaha (12-14, 5-6 Summit) is coming off an 0-2 weekend in North Dakota with losses to North Dakota and North Dakota State.

The Mavericks fell to North Dakota 99-78 on Feb. 8. Frankie Fidler, Omaha's leading scorer (19.2 ppg), was held to 13 points. Omaha fell 81-79 to North Dakota State after Fidler just missed what would have been the game winning basket in the final seconds. The 6-7 junior guard had 22 points and recorded his 12
th 20-point scoring game of the season.

Omaha is one of the best free throw shooting teams in the nation and the best in the Summit at 75 percent from the line. Fidler is the Mavericks' most frequent free throw shooter with 171 made free throws this season (sixth in NCAA) and 198 free throw attempts (11
th in NCAA).
The Series
Thursday's matchup marks the 117
th meeting between South Dakota and Omaha. The Coyotes own a 64-52 advantage over the Mavericks and have won seven of the last nine meetings. Omaha won the first meeting of the season 67-51 on Dec. 31 in Vermillion. Â
