USD nearly doubled up DU on the boards and held the Pioneers to 22 percent (6-of-27) from behind the arc and just 48 total points. The same Pioneer squad had scored 102 points in the game prior. Four Coyotes scored in double-figures last Thursday for the first time in conference action and nine players made a basket.

Three of the Mavericks' last four games have been determined by five points or less. Omaha also took the Coyotes to overtime in a New Year's Eve meeting at Baxter Arena.
