VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota softball's weekend series with South Dakota State has been moved up to Thursday and Friday at Nygaard Field due to forecasted weather conditions in Vermillion.
 
The Coyotes open the Summit League slate with a Thursday doubleheader against the Jackrabbits with game start times set for 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The series will wrap up with a single game at 1 p.m. Friday.
 
The winner of the series also collects a point for its respective institution in the Interstate Series presented by First Interstate Bank.
