Lucky Huber were recognized in the Summit League Indoor Track and Field postseason awards on Friday. Faurot was named the Summit League Indoor Men's Field Athlete of the Year and Huber garnered the Summit League Indoor Men's Coach of the Year. Awards were voted on by the league's head coaches.
Faurot, a native of Scott City, Kansas, garnered All-America first team honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts. Faurot also captured a Summit League Championship title in the men's pole vault with a personal best clearance of 18-1 ¼ (5.52m). The mark qualified him for the NCAA meet and earned him the Summit League's Most Outstanding Performer of the Championships award. He scored 10 points towards the Coyotes' Summit League Championship team title.
Faurot becomes the first Coyote since 2020 to garner the league's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year on the men's side and the fifth overall.
Huber garners the Summit League Men's Indoor Coach of the Year for the second-straight season. The Coyotes edged out North Dakota State by 1½ points to capture the men's Summit League team title.
