The Coyotes
South Dakota (20-11, 9-7) has reached 20 wins for the eighth time in the last decade. The Coyotes enter the Summit League Tournament as the No. 4 seed for the second-straight year.

The Coyotes have utilized a nine-woman rotation this season headlined by two-time all-Summit first team guard Grace Larkins. She's one of four players in the nation averaging more than 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game. She's coming off her fifth double-double of the season with 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. DePaul transfer Kendall Holmes was also recognized by the Summit League, being named to the all-newcomer team. Sophomore forward Carley Duffney has shined through the last month, averaging 11.1 points on 45 percent shooting during the month of February.

The Tommies
St. Thomas (15-15, 7-9) snapped a six-game losing streak with a 79-68 win at Denver to close out the regular season and lock up the No. 5 seed for the tournament. The Tommies' 15 wins is the most by the program in their Division I era.

The Tommies are led by the trio of Amber Scalia, Jade Hill and Jo Langbehn. Scalia leads St. Thomas with 16.6 points per game and 57 3-pointers on the season. Hill averages 13.5 points and a team-high 4.2 assists per game. Langbehn complements them in the post, averaging 12.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

The Series
South Dakota leads the series 5-1, sweeping the Tommies in the regular season this year. The Coyotes escaped the first meeting 63-61 on a buzzer-beater layup by Tori DePerry. South Dakota won round two 75-61 in Vermillion. This will be the two programs' first meeting in Sioux Falls.
