South Dakota returns home to face Omaha, the defending Summit League tournament champions. Saturday's doubleheader is at Noon and 2 p.m. while Sunday's single game is at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Omaha (28-8, 5-1) won two of three in a Summit League road series at St. Thomas. The loss in game two of Friday's doubleheader snapped a 16-game win streak. 

South Dakota (18-23, 3-5) took two of three games in a road series at North Dakota. 

SERIES HISTORY
Omaha leads 99-24 ... The Yotes are 13-32 against Omaha in Vermillion...The Mavericks have won the last eight meetings.

SOUTH DAKOTA NOTES
Gabby Moser is the Coyotes triple crown leader with a .297 average, seven home runs and 33 RBIs. Tatum Villotta, riding a current six-game hitting streak, delivered four of her six RBIs on the season in the North Dakota series.

Clara Edwards is the league leader in games started with 22 and her 2.29 ERA ranks second best in the Summit League and the righthander has been even tougher in league play with a 1.71 ERA.

The Coyotes four-member pitching staff has allowed a league-best nine walks in eight league games. Their team ERA of 2.30 in league play, is third-best in Summit. 

OMAHA NOTES
Alex Olson, who has hit safely in all five Summit League contests she has played, has a .563 average, tops during Summit League play. She's driven in five runs in her five Summit League contests.

Joelle Johnson, a recent addition to the starting lineup, has eight RBIs in five league games, tops on the team.

Kamryn Meyer, who leads the Summit League with 17 wins, has four of the team's five wins in league play. She's the league leader in strikeouts (148) and opponents hit just .217 against her.
