VERMILLION, S.D.— University of South Dakota Director of Athletics Jon Schemmel is excited to announce the promotion of Michaela Mohr to Assistant Director of Athletics Annual Giving.       
 
"Michaela has excelled in the time she has been with the organization and continues to push us to raise the bar," said Senior Associate Athletic Director and CRO Ben LeCompte.  "Our athletics development team will continue to grow and evolve, and Michaela is a key part of that.  We are excited for her to take this next step with the team."
 
A USD alum and former member of the Coyote Track and Field team, Mohr was hired as the Howling Pack membership coordinator in January 2023.  In her new role, Mohr will be responsible for coordinating and planning donor experiences and stewardship.  She'll help develop and execute strategies to increase annual giving revenue and create fundraising materials for the Howling Pack and USD Athletics fundraising efforts.  She will also continue to work closely with athletics communications and marketing to promote the growth of the Howling Pack.
 
A native of Sioux Falls, Mohr graduated from USD in December 2022.  Her new duties begin immediately.
