VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's soccer head coach
Michael Thomas has announced the hiring of Abby Divozzo as an assistant coach for the Coyotes.
"We are excited to welcome Abby into the University of South Dakota soccer program," said Thomas. "She brings experiences from several successful programs and will improve the Coyote soccer program in many different ways."
Divozzo joins the Coyotes from Central Missouri after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant for the Jennies. She worked primarily with UCM's goalkeepers. The Jennies accumulated 35 wins in her two seasons on the bench with a pair of NCAA Division II Tournament appearances.
Divozzo spent the 2021 season as an assistant coach at Adrian College (Div. III) in Michigan.
A native of Cadillac, Michigan, Divozzo was a goalkeeper at Saginaw Valley State from 2016-19.
