VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota women's basketball plays host to North Dakota State Wednesday night inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion.

Wednesday's Throwback Night game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip-off inside the SCSC. The game can be found on Midco Sports and on the Summit League Network powered by Midco Sports Plus. ABOUT THE COYOTES
• South Dakota has started conference play with a 3-2 record, but have a pair of tough Summit League foes this week as the conference race heats up.
• So far this season,
Grace Larkins leads South Dakota and the Summit League in points (24.2), rebounds (9.6), assists (5.7), and minutes (36.8) per game.
• For the first time since the season opener, the Coyote starting five returned to the five from the opener as
Cassidy Carson made her way back into the lineup at the start of conference play and is now back to the starting group.

SCOUTING THE BISON
• North Dakota State has had the Coyotes' number the last two seasons, winning a four straight.
• The Bison are off to a hot start to conference play with a 4-1 record, starting with four straight wins before a loss at Kansas City Saturday.
• Two Bison players average double figures: Avery Koenen (11.3) and Marisa Frost (10.7 ppg).
• The Bison lead the Summit League in scoring defense at 63.1 points per game and in three-point percentage defense at 26.4%.

• The Coyotes stumbled a week ago in Grand Forks, falling to North Dakota 80-54.
• Larkins recorded her fifth straight double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
