KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The South Dakota women's basketball team looks to snap a three-game skid Thursday night as the Coyotes are set to play Kansas City on the Roos' home floor.

The Coyotes and Roos are set for a 7 p.m. tip-off in Kansas City. Fans can watch on the Summit League Network powered by Midco Sports Plus. They can also tune in to the action on the Coyote Sports Network as John Thayer will have the call on KVHT 106.3 FM and the Varsity Network App.
 
ABOUT THE COYOTES
• South Dakota is on a three-game skid after a 3-1 start to conference play, losing to each of the Dakota schools over the last two weeks.
• So far this season, Grace Larkins leads South Dakota and the Summit League in points (24.2), rebounds (9.3), assists (5.6), and minutes (37.1) per game.
• The Coyotes have three players averaging double figures so far this season: Larkins (24.2), Alexi Hempe (11.5), and Carley Duffney (11.0).
 
SCOUTING THE ROOS
• Kansas City has won three of their last four games after a rocky start to the 2024-25 season, and currently sit fourth in the Summit League standings.
• After a tough home loss to Oral Roberts, the Roos picked up a 66-65 win at Omaha Saturday.
• Two Roos average double figures: Alayna Contreras (16.1) and Emani Bennett (15.1 ppg).
• The Roos lead the Summit League in offensive rebounds per game (14.1), steals per game (10.2), and turnovers forced per game (19.3).
 
LAST TIME OUT
• The Coyotes fell at home to South Dakota State Saturday, 77-59.
• Larkins recorded her 14th game of 20-plus points, totaling 27 to go with eight assists and seven rebounds.
• Carley Duffney also scored in double figures for a third straight game, totaling 17 points on 5-of-12 from the field.
• USD will look to avoid four straight for a second time this season, with the first time being the 0-4 start to the year.

• The Coyotes and Roos meet for the 16th time in series history.
