SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League announced today that South Dakota goalkeeper Kelsie Luquin has been named the Kwik Star Peak Defender of the Week after recording her first career shutout in the Coyotes 2-0 victory over Omaha. 

Luquin tallied five saves in the win, anchoring South Dakota's defense and helping the team maintain its hold on fourth place in the Summit League standings. 

The Coyotes now turn their attention to the first round of the Summit League Championship, where they will face Kansas City at home this Sunday at 1 p.m.
