VERMILLION, S.D. — Announced on ESPNU Sunday morning, the South Dakota football program was awarded the No. 11 national seed and will host the Drake University Bulldogs for a rematch on Saturday, November 29 in the DakotaDome for the First Round of the 2025 FCS Playoffs.
 
Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. (noon) from the DakotaDome with the game to be available on ESPN+. More information will be announced later this week. Ticket information and the ticket timeline can be found below.
 
South Dakota earned their fifth berth to the FCS Playoffs and will be going to the playoffs for the third-straight season. This season also marks the fourth time that USD will host a game in the FCS Playoffs.
 
The Coyotes ended the regular season with an 8-4 (6-2 MVFC) record, taking sole possession of second-place in the Valley following the final Saturday of the regular season.
 
TICKET INFORMATION
SUNDAY (NOV. 23): season ticket seats are available to season ticket holders. Login to your account (GoYotes.com/MyAccount) and select Season Renewal Application to purchase your seats. MONDAY (NOV. 24): Tickets open to the general public at 2 p.m. (CT).
 
WEDNESDAY (NOV. 26): Noon on Wednesday is the season ticket holder deadline to purchase their season ticket seats in the DakotaDome for the First Round game. At 12 p.m. (noon), season ticket seats begin to be released to the general public for purchase.
