OMAHA, Neb. — The South Dakota women's basketball program is set to head south for a battle with Omaha Thursday night inside Baxter Arena.
HOW TO FOLLOW ALONG
The Coyotes and Mavericks are scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip-off in Omaha Thursday. The game is available to watch on the Summit League Network powered by Midco Sports Plus. Fans can also tune in to the game on the Coyote Sports Network's flagship station, KVHT 106.3 FM, or on the Varsity Network App with the voice of South Dakota women's basketball Jerry Palleschi on the call.
ROUND TWO
• The last time South Dakota and Omaha met, the South Dakota fans were treated to history, as
Grace Larkins broke three single game records in a 71-66 win over the Mavericks.
• Larkins broke records in points (45, since broken at NDSU), field goals made (19) and field goals attempted (32) in the win. She also had 13 rebounds and six assists in the game. She scored or assisted on 25 of the team's 28 made field goals.

Cassidy Carson had 11 points for the Yotes.
• Three Mavericks scored in double figures, led by Grace Cave and Ja Harvey scoring 16 points apiece.
SINCE THEY'VE PLAYED
• The Coyotes and Mavericks met very early in conference play, and both sides have seen their struggles since January 11.
• The Coyotes lost four straight after their win over Omaha, and are 2-7 since the win.
• The Mavs loss to USD was the second in a stretch of nine consecutive conference losses, but Omaha has found the win column in two of its last three.
• In Saturday's overtime win vs Denver, Grace Cave (25 points) and Ja Harvey (23) led the Mavs offense, while Aaliyah Moore (12 pts, 11 reb) and Harriet Ford (10 pts, 18 reb) both recorded double-doubles.
LAST TIME OUT
• The Coyotes picked up a tough loss to in-state rival South Dakota State, 71-61, Saturday in Brookings.
• Larkins eclipsed 2,000 career points with 23 points in the loss. She was also an assist shy of a triple-double with 10 rebounds and nine assists.

Alexi Hempe buried five three-pointers in seven tries to add 15 points for the Yotes.
INSIDE THE OMAHA SERIES
• The Coyotes and Jacks meet for the 93rd time in series history.
• South Dakota's win over Omaha earlier this season was its 24th win over the Mavericks in Summit League play, the most against any one SL opponent.
• The Yotes have won nine straight games in Omaha dating back to the 2014-15 season.
