CLYDE LITTLEFIELD TEXAS RELAYS
AUSTIN, Texas – Lydia Knapp's personal best in the hammer throw highlighted a dreary day at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin Thursday.

Her previous personal best of 207-10 ranked her second in the Coyote Outdoor Top 10. Her new best mark keeps her second in the event.

Weather forced a schedule change as well. Due to the lightning delay and rain throughout the day, the women's pole vault competition was moved to Friday morning, scheduled for 10 a.m. Gen Hirata and Cassidy Mooneyhan were scheduled to compete.

The first Coyote event Friday is the rescheduled women's pole vault, now scheduled for 10 a.m.

BOBCAT INVITATIONAL
SAN MARCOS, Texas – Natnael Kifle's 5,000-meter title at the Bobcat Invitational was the bright spot on a gloomy day Thursday.

Kifle ran a 14:38.0 to win the 5,000, entering the Coyote Outdoor Top 10 at 10th in his first race of the season. Isaac Ochoa also competed in the race, crossing the finish line in 15:02.72 for 13th.

A strong performance from Delaney Smith in the discus highlighted action in the field for the Coyotes at the Bobcat Invitational Thursday.

Smith placed third in Section B of the discus with a toss of 143-7 (43.78m). That mark is a new personal best for Smith. Section B of the men's and women's pole vault originally scheduled for Thursday was postponed to Friday.
