VERMILLION, S.D. – The University of South Dakota softball team is excited to announce a postgame clinic for young athletes following its doubleheader against Morningside on
Sunday, April 13 at Nygaard Field.
The Coyotes will face the Morningside Mustangs in a two-game series beginning at
1:00 p.m., and immediately following the conclusion of Game 2, the team will welcome local youth onto the field for an exclusive clinic.
This fun and interactive clinic is open to
kids in 6th grade and below and will give participants the chance to learn from Division I student-athletes. Young softball players will work on fundamental skills, including fielding, hitting, base running, and teamwork—all in a supportive and energetic environment.
Clinic Details:
- Date: Sunday, April 13
- Time: Immediately following Game 2 of the doubleheader (approx. 4:30 p.m.)
- Location: Nygaard Field, Vermillion, SD
- Eligibility: Kids in 6th grade and below
- Cost: Free
- What to Bring: Glove, water bottle, and sneakers/cleats
