VERMILLION, S.D. — The South Dakota athletic department has announced that 26 paved tailgate spots have been added to Lot D, located directly east of the DakotaDome and west of the tennis courts. The decision to expand is based on a growing wait list for Bud Light Tailgate Nation reserved spots.
 
Each spot is three parking spots wide and is available for $600 on a season basis. All tailgate spot owners are required to be at the $1,500 Yote Fund level.
 
"Gameday atmosphere is a key component to success on the field for Coyote football, and that begins with a great pregame tailgating experience," said Deputy AD Corey Jenkins. "Coyote fans have continued to show up in larger numbers to take advantage of pregame activities and experiences. Increasing the size of Tailgate Nation and the availability of reserved, season tailgate spots will help more faithful Coyote fans secure tailgate locations and continue to improve upon the gameday experience at the DakotaDome!"
 
Also new to Bud Light Tailgate Nation is early access, available for purchase on a season basis for $100. Early access grants you the ability to enter Bud Light Tailgate Nation and Grass Tailgate Nation at 7 a.m. for each home game.
 
Single game early access can be purchased at $40 per game. Yote Fund Society members at the Bronze Level and above will receive early access as a membership benefit.
 
General and priority parking lots will open at 9 a.m. for each home game of the '25 season.
