SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –
Sara Reifenrath claimed her first Drake Relays individual title by winning the 400-meters, and competed on two relays to claim the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Outdoor Track Peak Performer of the Week award, announced by the Summit League office Tuesday afternoon.

Reifenrath, a senior from Hartington, Neb., won the women's 400-meters at the Blue Oval with a time of 53.63 seconds. That time was nearly a full second faster than the second-place time (54.62). Reifenrath also ran on the 4x100 team that took sixth in the prelims in a time of 46.11 and she ran on the 4x400 team that 3:42.32 in the Invitational section of the event.

Currently, Reifenrath holds the fastest time in the Summit League in the 400-meters and ran a leg of the fastest time in the Summit League in the 4x400 relays. South Dakota's 4x100 time ranks fourth in the conference this season.

Reifenrath is now a nine-time Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, claiming her first honor of the 2024-25 season this week.

The Coyotes have compiled seven Summit League weekly honors this spring, including three of the five athletes to earn honors this week.
