VERMILLION, S.D. — The University of South Dakota athletic department unveiled a new basketball court inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center (SCSC) heading into the 2025-26 basketball seasons, proudly displaying the athletic brand of USD Athletics.
The new court features a prominent on-court sponsor of First Dakota National Bank and their continued support of Coyote athletics.
The new court design maintains a minimalistic design with the icon Coyote paw at mid-court. Additionally, the partnership with Sanford Health continues to be featured on the sidelines with the
SANFORD Coyote Sports Center on the sidelines on each side of the floor.
The court now also features updated font to match the branding of South Dakota, utilizing the block lettering found in the South Dakota brand.
The design now newly features:
- Lanes colored red with a prominent white Summit League logo.
- On the sideline nearest the Cor Trust Club seating features the Yotes script font.
- Updated text font of the sidelines and baseline.
- One – red – three-point line.
- Black accent around the boundaries of the court.
