VERMILLION, S.D. — Heading into game week for both the South Dakota football and volleyball next week, the weekly University of South Dakota coaches' show, hosted by the voice of the Coyotes, John Thayer, returns to Old Lumber Company (OLC) on August 25 for the 2025-26 season.
 
The first show of the 2025-26 academic year returns next Monday, August 25 from 6 to 7 p.m. from OLC in downtown Vermillion. Hear weekly from head football coach Travis Johansen and head volleyball coach Leanne Williamson as regular weekly guests throughout the fall season.
 
In alternating weeks, hear from Coyote football and volleyball student-athletes as they sit down with their head coach and Thayer to discuss all things Coyotes.
 
The hour-long show will be on the airwaves on KVHT 106.3 in Vermillion and Yankton, on GoYotes.com, the Varsity Network app, and will be livestreamed on Facebook.
 
Stop by Old Lumber Company on Monday (Aug. 25) on the rooftop (weather permitting) and free appetizers provided (while supplies last; for the first week only).
