VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes women's soccer team is set to kick off Summit League action this Sunday at 1:00 p.m., hosting St. Thomas at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex.
THE COYOTES
The Coyotes enter conference play with a solid 4-2-4 overall record. Klarissa Vega has been a standout on the offensive end, leading the team with six goals on the season. Brooke Conway has contributed one goal and remains a consistent attacking threat, registering 25 shots thus far. In goal, Campbell Fischer has been dependable for the Yotes, recording 29 saves through nine appearances.
THE TOMMIES
The Tommies come into the weekend with a 3-4-1 record and will face South Dakota State in Brookings on Thursday before making the trip to Vermillion. Key player to watch is midfielder Mackenzie Jacobson (#7), who leads St. Thomas in both goals (3) and assists (2) this season.
