SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota men's golfer Jack Holtz has been named the Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week following his runner-up performance at the Kemper Lakes Intercollegiate.

Holtz led the Coyotes to a second-place team finish at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Long Grove, Illinois, finishing second individually with an even-par 216. He carded rounds of 72, 68 and 76 across the 54-hole event.

His second-round 68 (-4) was the lowest round of the tournament by a South Dakota golfer and moved Holtz into contention for the individual title. He finished behind Drake's Jake Weissenburger, who won the individual championship at 5-under 211.

Holtz's runner-up finish was his best individual result of the fall season and helped South Dakota finish second in the 12-team field with a score of 894 (+30).

The weekly honor marks the second Summit League Golfer of the Week award of Holtz's career.
