COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Two USD divers traveled to Texas for the NCAA Zone D Championships this week, and freshman Maddox Mork qualified to move onto finals in the 3 meter. 
 
In the preliminary round, Mork placed 17^th with a score of 292.05 which was enough to grant him six more dives in the finals. He then finished the competition in 18^th with a 12 dive total of 563.05. 
 
Charlie Matthews competed in the 1 meter dive prelims where he had a six dive score of 234.25 which placed him in 19^th, just short of finals.
