VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota triathlon earned Scholar All-American Team honor and
Chelsea Webber earned First Team Scholar All-America honors, announced by the College Triathlon Coaches Association.

Chelsea Webber earned her first CTCA Scholar All-American honor after being an honorable mention in 2023. In order to be named a CTCA Scholar All-American, an athlete must place in the top 21 of their division at the National Championship and maintain a 3.5 GPA or better throughout the fall semester.

Four Coyotes were also honorable mention Scholar All-Americans, given to athletes with a 3.5 GPA or better during the fall who placed outside of the top 21 at the National Championship.
Franziska Neck,
Ella Spitz,
Clara Williams, and
Sydni Sawyer all received the honorable mention status.

South Dakota also earned the Team Scholar All-America honors for the 2025 season by holding a 3.2 team GPA or higher.
