SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota men's basketball's
Isaac Bruns landed on the Summit League Men's Basketball Academic All-League Team for the second straight year.
Bruns was named this year's Summit League Tournament's Scholar of the Championship and holds a 4.0 cumulative GPA while majoring in business. Bruns has excelled in the classroom and on the court, as he averaged 20.8 points per game in 20 contests this season. He scored in double-figures in every game he played, had 20 or more points in 12 games, shot 44.7 percent from the field and averaged 5.1 rebounds per game.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of his team's competitions.
The Coyotes have had at least one student-athlete represented on the Summit League's Academic All-League Team in each of the last four seasons.
