Men’s basketball adds Domsch to 2025-26 roster

VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota men's basketball head coach Eric Peterson has announced the addition of Brandon Domsch to the 2026-27 roster. The 6'7 forward transfers in from North Platte Community College and has two years of eligibility remaining.

The Broomfield, Colorado native appeared in 26 games and made six starts for the Knights in 2025-26. Domsch averaged 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 48.8% from the field. He set season highs of 16 points and seven rebounds in the same game against Garden City Community College and was 7-of-10 from the field. He had three games with double-digit points and had eight games with four or more rebounds. Domsch and the Knights advanced to the Region IX quarterfinals before falling to Northwest College.

Domsch spent his freshman season at Northern Oklahoma College – Tonkawa where he appeared and started in fourteen contests. He averaged 5.5 points and 4.4 boards per game for the Mavericks. Domsch had a season high 14 points in his first collegiate game against Independence Community College and pulled down 10 rebounds against Garden City.
