Coyotes sign Fevry to 2026-27 roster

VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota men's basketball head coach Eric Peterson announced the addition of Iliam Fevry to the 2026-27 roster. The 6'5 guard from Paris, France, transfers in from Arizona Western and has three years of eligibility remaining.

Fevry appeared in 30 games for the Matadors and started nine of those contests. He averaged 9.7 points per game, 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and held a 54.2 field goal percentage. The true freshmen found his stride towards the end of the season with 10 double-digit scoring games over the last 12 contests. He had back-to-back games where he led the team in scoring with 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting against Cochise College and 29 points against College of Southern Nevada where he went 14-of-20 from the field. In total, he had 14 double-figure scoring games. Fevry posted a double-double in the team's win over Central Arizona with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two steals. Fevry and the Matadors put together a 22-9 overall record and were the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions with a 12-3 mark.

Fevry played for Sluc Nancy Basket in the 2024-25 France-ProA U21 League where he averaged 12.3 points, 4.5 assists, 1.9 steals and 4.3 rebounds per game in 30 appearances. He scored 20 or more points in his first three games, including a 29-point performance, and had five games with 20+. Fevry recorded a pair of double-doubles against La Rochelle with 25 points and 10 rebounds and a 15-point, 11-assist outing against Le Mans.
