VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota men's basketball has announced the 2026-27 Summit League men's basketball schedule Thursday morning. 

The Coyotes open Summit League play on the road for the fifth straight season, as they head to Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 7 to face Oral Roberts. The Yotes close out the opening week of conference play at Kansas City on January 9. 
 
South Dakota returns to the Sanford Coyote Sports Center where they'll host the Dakota schools across the second and third weeks of conference play. USD and South Dakota State square off in the SCSC on Saturday, January 16, in the only game of the week for both teams. The Yotes close out their three-game home stand against North Dakota on January 21 and vs North Dakota State on January 23. 
 
The Yotes round out the first half of league play at Omaha and at St. Thomas (Jan. 28/30) and are back in the SCSC On Feb. 4 against Kansas City and Feb. 6 vs. Oral Roberts. The Coyotes travel North on I-29 for three straight games at South Dakota State (Feb. 13), at North Dakota State (Feb. 18) and at North Dakota (Feb. 20). 
 
South Dakota closes the regular season by hosting St. Thomas (Feb. 25) and Omaha (Feb. 27) in the SCSC.
