SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota women's basketball has dates for its 2026-27 14-game Summit League slate as the conference office has announced the men's and women's basketball schedules for the upcoming season.
 
The Coyotes will play seven games in each of the months of January and February, starting with a home match-up with Oral Roberts on January 7 and ending on the road at Omaha on February 27.
 
The Coyotes do not leave the Dakotas for the month of January, playing four games in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center against Oral Roberts (Jan. 7), Kansas City (Jan. 9), Omaha (Jan. 28), and St. Thomas (Jan. 30), and three road games at South Dakota State (Jan. 16), North Dakota (Jan. 21), and North Dakota State (Jan. 23).

The Coyotes are on the road more in February, taking trips to Kansas City and Tulsa to open the month and trips to St. Paul and Omaha to close the month. In between the two road trips is three home games against the Dakota schools. The Interstate Series showdown with South Dakota State at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center is set for February 13. The following week, South Dakota hosts North Dakota State (Feb. 18) and North Dakota (Feb. 20).
 
The Summit League Championships are scheduled for March 4-7 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls. South Dakota made the quarterfinals last season after earning the No. 3 seed in the tournament with a 12-4 conference record.
