VERMILLION, S.D. ­— Due to course conditions and weather forecasts, the Greeno Dirksen Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. Saturday has been canceled, and the Coyotes will now run next weekend in Missouri.
 
The Greeno-Dirksen Invitational was canceled Tuesday, and South Dakota now plans to run a week from today (Friday) at the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by Missouri in Columbia, Mo. South Dakota last ran at the Gans Creek Classic in 2024.
 
The 2026 running of the Gans Creek Classic is scheduled for Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
