Named a Third Team STATS Perform & FCS Football Central preseason All-American ... made his 101^st consecutive PAT against Iowa State (Aug. 30).

2024 | Junior
Saw action as the team’s primary place kicker (PATs and FGs) in all 14 games … sat third on the team in scoring with 93 points (10 FG, 63 PAT) … was 10-for-14 (71.4%) on field goal attempts … was a perfect 63-for-63 on extra points … had three games with two field goals made (Wisconsin, Youngstown State, and North Dakota), all on the road … had a season-high eight PATs in the win at Murray State (Oct. 5) … had one kickoff on the season for 65 yards against Indiana State (Nov. 9).
 
2023 | Sophomore
FCS Football Central Third Team All-American … Second Team All-MVFC honoree … Second Team All-MVFC Scholar-Athlete Team … only FCS kicker who didn’t miss a kick all season … went 13-for-13 on field goals and 38-for-38 on extra points … finalist for the Fred Mitchell Award which honors the top place-kicker in FCS, Division II, Division III, NAIA and NJCAA for excellence on the field and in the community … five of his 13 field goals were from 40 yards or longer … made a season-long of 50 yards against top-ranked South Dakota State (Oct. 28) … was twice named MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week … the first came after drilling a game-winning, 41-yard field goal on the final play of a 34-31 win against No. 23 Youngstown State (Oct. 14) … it was his second 41-yard make during the game … also earned the award after making two field goals including a 47-yarder in the win at Western Illinois to conclude the regular season (Nov. 18) … first collegiate kick was a 40-yard field goal at Missouri in the season opener (Aug. 31) ... earned CSC Academic All-District honors ... MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award ... MVFC Honor Roll.

Lettered three years at kicker and punter at Souderton Area High for coach Edward Gallagher … earned first-team All-SOL at kicker and punter his senior season, leading his team to an 8-3 record … participated in the Bucks/Montgomery County All-Star Game … was also a third-team All-State preseason kicker his senior year … awarded first-team All-SOL kicking honors his junior year, and second-team honors his sophomore year … was a four-year letterwinner in water polo and swimming, where he was captain for both his senior season … was a member of National Honor Society all four years of high school.

Born William Isaac Leyland in Sellersville, Pa. … parents are Steve and Lisa Leyland … has one brother, Tyler (11) … list of favorites include: Interstellar (movie), Michael Phelps (pro athlete), and spaghetti on a paper plate with six meatballs (pregame meal) … is an Eagle Scout, and has completed over 200 hours of community service … earned his bachelor’s degree in Operational Analytics from South Dakota … is working on his Master’s in Business Administration from USD.
