Second Team All-Conference (DL) … Named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team (DL) … at Iowa State (Aug. 30): Made his first career collegiate start and his South Dakota debut at defensive end … posted six tackles and one of the team’s two TFLs against the Cyclones … at Lamar (Sept. 6): posted a career-best nine tackles and recorded two tackles for loss (0.5 sacks) … vs. Northern Colorado (Sept. 13): posted seven tackles in the overtime win against the Bears with his second-straight game with two tackles for loss (0.5 sacks) … vs. Drake (Sept. 20): had five tackles with a half a sack in the victory … third-straight game with at least a half a sack … at North Dakota State (Sept. 27): posted a season- and career-high nine tackles against the Bison … vs. Murray State (Oct. 4): had three tackles with one tackle for loss in the Dakota Days win … at Northern Iowa (Oct. 18): posted four tackles with two sacks (career-best) against the Panthers … vs. Illinois State (Oct. 25): posted eight tackles in the loss against Illinois State … vs. South Dakota State (Nov. 8): had six tackles in the Interstate Series win over the Jacks … vs. Drake – FCS (Nov. 29): started his FCS Playoff career with a bang, six tackles with 1.5 sacks in the rematch with Drake.

Played in three games for the Hawkeyes ... collected a career-high two tackles and recovered his first-career cumble as the Iowa defense allowed just 189 yards in season-opening 40-0 shutout of Illinois State.
