Honorable Mention All-Conference (QB) ... Team Captain ... one of 12 Coyotes to start all 14 games … finished the regular season second in the Valley at 205.2 passing yards per game ... finished the season with his single-season best 2,959 yards and 19 passing touchdowns … went 9-for-12 (75.0%) threw the air in the season opener against Northern State (Aug. 29), throwing for 85 yards ... went 12-for-23 with 114 yards against Wisconsin, entering the program's top-10 list all-time in career passing yards in the effort ... was 18-for-24 against Drake (Sept. 21) with one passing score ... took sole possession of 10th place all-time in USD passing record books with his two touchdowns in the 42-13 win over No. 17 SIU, going 11-for-17 for 247 yards, additionally set a career-best with an 80-yard touchdown pass to Galbreath ... followed SIU with his third-straight 200+ passing yard game on the road at Murray State (Oct. 5) with 221 yards on 16-for-22 passing and one passing touchdown ... hot streak continued against Northern Iowa (Oct. 12) when he threw for a new season-best 284 yards and two touchdown passes on 17-for-20 passing, completing his first 13 passes of the game ... went 12-for-18 in the come-from-behind win at Youngstown State, throwing for 223 yards for a touchdown as the Yotes won their first-ever game in Youngstown ... went 20-for-32 for 164 yards in the overtime game at No. 3 South Dakota State (Oct. 26) ... against the Sycamores (Nov. 9) the following week, was 14-for-20 for 238 yards and a pair of touchdowns ... was 15-for-21 with a touchdown in the win at North Dakota (Nov. 16) ... in the first win over the FCS No. 1-ranked team since 2011, Bouman went 18-for-30 for 272 yards, leading a pair touchdown drives in the final minute to down North Dakota State, 29-28 (Nov. 23) ... in his third-career FCS Playoff game, he was 18-for-22 (81.8%) for 213 yards and two touchdowns against Tarleton State (Dec. 7) … in the program’s first-ever FCS Quarterfinals win, he was 14-for-22 with 253 yards and tied his career-high with three passing touchdowns (two INTs) … in the FCS Semifinals, he tied his season-best with 20 completions on 20-for-29 passing for 236 yards.

Team Captain … turned in the 11^th-best pass efficiency nationally (156.7) ... ranked fifth nationally in yards per attempt (9.1) … one of 11 Coyotes who started all 13 games … completed 187-of-280 passes for 2,551 yards and 15 touchdowns against six interceptions … also ran for a touchdown … threw for the fifth-most yards in a season in program history and completed the fifth-most passes … ranked sixth in the Valley and 28^th nationally in passing yards … threw 10 touchdown passes against one interception over the first seven games of the season … led the team to 12 scores on 14 possessions during a three-game stretch that included 11 touchdowns and one field goal … completed 24-of-29 passes for a season-best 369 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-31 win against No. 23 Youngstown State (Oct. 14) … had a second 300-yard passing game in the win against 10^th-ranked North Dakota when he went 20-of-28 for 307 yards (Nov. 11) … went 11-for-16 for 174 yards and two touchdowns in the NCAA playoff win against Sacramento State (Dec. 2) ... 2022 | Redshirt Freshman
Named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team … named Valley Newcomer of the Week after passing for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the home win against Missouri State (Nov. 5) ... took over starting quarterback duties just before halftime of the Coyotes’ Dakota Days contest against No. 14 Southern Illinois (Oct. 22) … took over the starting role and started the remaining four games of the season, completing 80-of-132 passes for 892 yards with eight touchdowns and one interception ... threw 106 passes before his first interception ... MVFC Honor Roll member. 

• vs. Southern Illinois (Oct. 22): entered trailing 21-7 and rallied South Dakota to a 27-24 victory … led USD to a field goal on his first possession and threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Eliodor on the opening possession of the second half to start the comeback … finished with 120 yards passing.
