Had an outstanding career at Carroll High School...as a senior, earned Des Moines Register Class 3A All-State honors -- the fourth time he has earned all-state honors in his career -- after averaging 24.6 points per game...named ESPNHS Midwest Player of the Week on 2/1/12 after scoring 47 points in win over Winterset...also named to Iowa Newspaper Class 3A All-State team...scored 491 points as a senior, sixth-most in school history...holds school record for three-pointers made in a career (299), and also holds school records for assists (391) and steals (217)...as he hit 83 three-pointers as a junior marking the 25th most in a single-season in Iowa prep history....was named to the Iowa Class 3A All-State first team in 2010-11 where he averaged 20 points per game...as a sophomore he was named MVP of the Swish and Dish Invitational in Milwaukee, Wis...started for Carroll as a freshman and led the team in scoring, assists and steals helping the team to a third place finish at state...finished career at 1,835 points, second all-time in school history...plays AAU basketball for Kingdom Hoops under former Iowa State University standout Jake Sullivan.
