One of 12 redshirt freshmen who competed during the season … started the final five games of the season at right tackle after teammate Derek Chancellor was sidelined with an injury … played in seven of 12 games overall … helped lead an offense that averaged 166 yards rushing and 189 yards passing per game … Coyotes averaged 215 yards passing in his five starts … MVFC Conference Honor Roll member.

Named to The Des Moines Register All-State Second-Team, Sioux City Journal First-Team All-Northwest Iowa and to the Academic All-State team as a senior...two-year starter at offensive tackle and defensive end and was named a team captain as a senior...after racking up 35 tackles (three for loss) and two sacks during his senior year, Dagel was honored as his team's lineman of the year...member of the National Honor Society...three-year class officer...made the honor roll all four years.
