One of 10 Coyotes who started all 11 games, he at linebacker … led the Coyotes and ranked 12th in the Valley in tackles with 82 including two sacks and 6.5 for loss … earned the first MVFC Defensive Player of the Week Award following his week one performance at Kansas State (9/1) … had seven tackles against the Wildcats with two sacks, a fumble recovery and a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown that put the Coyotes ahead 24-12 at halftime … was the team’s leading tackler four times including a career-high 13 tackles at Indiana State (11/3) … was credited with four pass breakups

Competed in 11 of 13 games and earned seven starts at outside linebacker … finished as the team’s sixth-leading tackle with 49 including 29 solo stops, 7.5 tackles-for-loss and 0.5 sacks … also credited with two pass breakups and three quarterback hurries … forced a fumble and got his third collegiate interception in the second round playoff game at No. 5 Sam Houston State (12/2) … led the Coyotes with a career-high 10 tackles at No. 24 Illinois State (10/21) … had 3.5 tackle-for-loss in that game
2016
One of 27 Coyotes who competed in all 11 games … earned three starts at outside linebacker … made his first collegiate start against Illinois State (10/22) … finished with 53 tackles, seventh-most on the team … credited with 32 solo stops and had 1.5 tackles-for-loss … also had two interceptions during the season, five pass breakups and two quarterback hurries … led the Yotes with nine tackles in a double-overtime win at Indiana State (10/15) … in that game, also recovered a fumble, made a 4
th-and-goal tackle from the 1, and intercepted a pass that led to a 13-yard touchdown drive that gave USD a 27-17 lead … also had a fourth-quarter interception in the game at 12
