Played in eight games, mainly on special teams where he accumulated two tackles.

Redshirted...defensive scout team player of the week heading into the Missouri State game.

Played at Midwest City High School with current Coyote teammate Ricky Reeves...Lewis earned first team all-district and first team all-state honors as a safety...He earned 6A Defensive Player of the Years honors and led the state of Oklahoma in tackles his junior and senior years with 323 career stops...As a senior, he had 169 tackles and was named to the Oil Bowl...He had one interception, two forced fumbles and three sacks as a senior to finish with three interceptions, four forced fumbles, five sacks and two touchdowns for his career.
