Was named to the Academic All-Summit League Team … placed seventh in the 400 IM (4:04.02), 10th in the 200 IM (1:53.16) and 12th in the 1,650 free (16:38.37) at the Summit League Championships … at the championships, he was on the 4x800 relay team that broke the school record with a time of 6:46.12. Helped 800 yard free relay to fourth-place finish at The Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships (6:51.38)... Finished ninth in the 1650 yard free (16:07.02), 12th in the 500 yard free (4:40.29), 15th in the 100 yard backstroke (53.18) .... Had team's best time in the 1000 yard free (9:55.13). Was second on team in 500 yard free (4:33.17), 1650 yard free (16:06.00) and in the 100 yard backstroke (52.76)... Won the 1000 yard free in dual against Green Bay (11/14)... Swam for coach Josh Stone at Chaparral High School...team captain for junior and senior years...three-time team MVP at Chaparral...holds school records in 500 freestyle (4:37.75), 200 individual medley (1:55.66), 100 backstroke (52.70s), and two relays ...2013 Southwestern League Champion in 500 free, 100 back and two relays...only undefeated male swimmer in the Southwestern League...became an Eagle Scout in 2011...National Honor Society member.
