Hailey Garlich joins the South Dakota men's and women's swimming and diving coaching staff ahead of the 2019-20 season.

During the 2019-20 season she helped both the men's and women's team record runner-up finishes at the Summit League Championships.

Garlich swam four years at Grand Valley State University where she finished in the top 20 of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet 13 times. 

She was a four-time conference finalist in the 200 backstroke and a three-time finalist in the 400 IM.
