Had one win, five top-three and 10 top-five finishes...won the 50-meter free against Morningside and was second in the 100-meter free in the Green Bay Dual...placed 10th in the 50 free, 13th in the 100 free and 17th in the 200 free at the Summit League Championships...made the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

Earned one All-Summit League honor as part of 400 free relay team that swam time of 3:05.64 and took fourth in finals (earned third-place points)...placed 13th in 100 freestyle (48.06) and 14th in 200 freestyle at conference meet (1:46.24)...part of 400 freestyle relay team that set school and pool records with a time of 3:31.79 against SDSU (12/10/11)...named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2010-11
Finished 12th at the Summit League Championships in the 500 freestyle (4:48.58) and the 1,650 freestyle (17:02.67) and was 14th in the 200 freestyle (1:46.59)...won the 500 freestyle in Coyotes' win over Minnesota State, Mankato with a time of 5:00.09 (01/15/11)...named to the Summit League Academic All-League team...also named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2009-10
Had a solid freshman campaign...placed 1st at the SDSU vs. USD meet in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 3:55.67...swam season bests in the 100-yard butterfly (:57.96), 500-yard freestyle (4:55.91), and 100-yard freestyle (:50.15)...also swam season bests at the Summit League Championships in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.02) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:10.59)...named to the Summit League Academic All-League team...named to the Summit League Academic All-League team.

Horton won the 200 meter freestyle state championship in 2008...lettered all four years of high school.
