A four-time state qualifier, Pearson was a three-time state place finisher for the Dodgers. A member of the school record 400 free relay unit, he placed 11th in the 100 free as a senior after finishing 10th as a junior. The four-time letter winner also finished 15th in the 200 free as a junior.
