Earned All-Summit League honors as a member of a third-place 800 free relay at the Summit League Championships...also at the conference championships placed 16th in the 200 free (1:42.72), 19th in the 500 free (4:38.41) and 19th in the 200 fly (1:57.66)...member of school record 800 free relay...swam collegiate bests in the 200 free (1:41.12) and 500 free (4:34.94) along with season bests in the 100 free (47.64) and 100 fly (52.09) at the Augustana Invitational...on Coyote Top 10 chart sits fifth all-time in the 500 free (4:34.94) and eighth all-time in the 200 free (1:41.12)...earned his first collegiate individual race victory by claiming the 500 free at the Augustana Invitational...placed third in the 100 free, third in the 800 free and fifth in the 400 free in a home dual against St. Thomas...placed in the top 10 in 17 events...made the Summit League honor roll.

Competed in one meet, a dual with BYU, where he finished seventh in the 1000 free (10:28.15), eighth in the 500 free (5:06.20) and 13th in the 100 free (51.94).

A four-year swimmer for Carlsbad High School, helped the Lancers to a second place and two third place finishes in the CIF Championships while competing in the 200, 400, and 500 free individual and team relay events ... during his career, was a California State Championship Qualifier, three-time top three finisher in the San Diego Section CIF, a two-year team captain, a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, and holds his club team's record in the 400 and 500 free ... was also an AP Scholar with Honors, and was a member of the Carlsbad High School Honors Society.
