Swam to second-place finishes in season-best times in the 100 breast (55.79) and 200 breast (2:02.23) during the Augustana Invitational...finished fourth in the 200 breast, fifth in the 100 breast and ninth in the 50 free at the Kansas Tri-Duals...placed in the top 10 in 10 events.
2018-19
Earned All-Summit League honors in four events (two relays, two individual) at the Summit League Championships...Was a member of the 200 medley relay that finished second and the 400 medley relay that was third while also posting a pair of third-place finishes in the 100 breast (54.91) and 200 breast (2:00.77)...On Coyote Top 10 list lowered his school record time in the 200 breast (2:00.69) during the Summit League Championships...A school record holder as a member of the 200 medley relay (1:30.32)...won the 100 breast in two different meets, the South Dakota State Quad and the dual with South Dakota State...placed in the top 10 in nine events.
2017-18
Earned All-Summit League honors as a member of the 400 medley relay that placed third at the Summit League Championships … also at the championships, finished third in the 200 breast (2:01.52) in the 100 breast (54.68)… swam a NCAA B Cut time of 54.68 in the 100 breast … was a member of the 400 medley relay (3:20.21) that set the school record … broke the 100 breast (54.68) and 200 breast (2:01.52) school records.
2016-17
Placed seventh in the 200 breast (2:03.02) ninth in the 100 breast (56.31) and 21
st in the 50 free (21.98) at the Summit League Championships … placed third five times … finished in the top-5 six more times … on the Coyote Top 10 list, ranks second in the 100 breast (56.31) and third in the 200 breast (2:03.02).
Prep
While competing at Brother Rice High School, Ryan was named all-state, he was a team captain and was the MVP of his team, twice ... He is a two-time recipient of the Vicariate V Leadership award.
