Competed in four events at the Summit League Championships, the 500 free (5:09.94), 200 free (1:58.92), 200 back (2:09.85) and the 1650 free (17:38.79), posting season best times in all of them...posted season bests in meters in the 100 free (1:05.73) while finishing 10th in a dual with Omaha and in the 400 free (4:43.07) while placing third in a dual with South Dakota State...finished second in the 1650 free and in the 500 free in a dual with St. Thomas...placed in the top 10 in 11 events.

At the Summit League Championships finished fourth in the 1650 free (17:23.32), sixth in the 500 free (5:03.78), was a member of the fourth-place 800 free relay and competed in the 200 free (1:57.70)...won the 500 free (5:18.21) in a dual with Minnesota State...finished second in the 500 free and fifth in the 200 free in both a dual with Northern Iowa and a dual with South Dakota State...on Coyote Top 10 list sits second in 1000 free (10:30.02), third in 1650 free (17:23.32) and 10th in 500 free (5:03.78)...placed in top 10 in 14 events.
Prep
Swimming for the Class A state champions as a senior, Mattaini posted a state runner-up finish in the 500 free along with an 11
th-place effort in the 200 free. As a sophomore, also helped Visitation High School win the Class A state title, while winning an individual state title in the 500 free. Also posted a fourth-place finish in the 200 free and swam on the state runner-up 400 free relay.
