Recorded two wins, 10 top-threes and 16 top-fives during sophomore season... Set new school record in the 500 free (4:33.17)... Placed eighth in the 1650 yard free (16:06.00), ninth in the 500 yard free (4:33.17) and 17th in the 400 IM (4:15.21) at The Summit League Championships... Helped 800 yard free relay to fourth-place finish at The Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships (6:51.38)... Posted the team's top times in the 200 free (46.94), 500 free (4:33.17) and 1650 free (16:06.00). Had second-best time of 4:38.70 in the 1,000 free... Won the 100 fly and finished second in the 800 free in dual against North Dakota (10/19)... Finished second at the Rochester Invitational in the 500 free (12/8)... Enjoyed strong career at George Washington High School in Cedar Rapids...as a junior, placed second in the state in the 200 free and third in the 500 free...also recorded top eight finishes in both events as a sophomore, and qualified for state in both events as a freshman...was named the Metro Swimmer of the Year in 2011 and was named the team's MVP the past two seasons...also won the 500 free at the Iowa Swimming State Championships with a time of 4:38.37.
