2019-20
Posted a trio of top ten finishes at the Jackrabbit Invitational by finishing eighth in the 200 back, eighth in the 100 back and 10th in the 200 free...placed 10th in the 200 back at the MSU Moorhead Duals...swam season bests in the 200 free (1:47.47) and 100 back (54.31) at the Jackrabbit Invitational.

2018-19
Finished second in the 200 free (1:46.45), fifth in the 500 free (4:53.33) and sixth in the 100 free (48.98) while swimming season bests in the Coyote Invitational...placed ninth in the 100 back (58.17) and 200 back (2:08.40) during the South Dakota State Quad...season bests include the 200 back (2:01.82) and 200 IM (2:05.41)...placed in the top 10 in six events.

2017-18
Earned All-Summit League honors as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that placed second at the Summit League Championships … also at the championships, placed tenth in the 1,650 free (16:48.51) and 14^th in the 500 free (4:46.02) … was a member of the 800 free relay (6:42.70) that broke the school record … placed in the top-10 of 11 events.

2016-17
Earned All-Summit League honors as a member of the 800 free relay that placed third at the Summit League Championships … placed 12^th in the 200 back (1:57.41), 15^th in the 100 back (53.05) and 22^nd in the 200 free (1:43.69) at the championships … won the 50 free (22.79) vs. North Dakota, the 200 free (1:43.84) vs. South Dakota and the 200 free (1:43.56) at a triangular vs. North Dakota & Northern Colorado … placed in the top-5 of 15 events … was a member of the 800 free relay that set the school record with a time of 6:42.87 … named Summit League Men’s Swimmer of the Week, once.

Prep
Spencer is a two-time district champion in the 200-yard freestyle ... at Bettendorf High School, Spencer was a four-time letterman, two-time team captain and is part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that holds the current pool record ... as a bulldog, Spencer is a two-time district record holder in the 200-yard freestyle ... for club, he was the Iowa State 2015 Long Course High Point winner, a 2015 Futures of Champions qualifier and a 2015 Winter Junior Nationals qualifier.
