Tandem Mays

Tandem Mays was hired as an assistant coach in the summer of 2014 after finishing her second season as a graduate assistant coach at South Dakota. She was a member of current Coyote head coach Amy Williams' coaching staff at Rogers State for the previous four seasons before joining USD.

In three seasons on staff, Mays has helped the Coyotes post 64 victories and a 35-7 record inside the DakotaDome. South Dakota advanced to the NCAA Division I Tournament for the first time in 2014 after winning the Summit League Tournament, and won the program's first Summit League regular season title in 2015. The Coyotes have advanced to the finals of the Summit League Tournament in each of the last three seasons.

While a member of the Rogers State women's basketball coaching staff, Mays helped the team to a 84-47 mark. She was involved in court-skill development of the team's guards and also involved in recruiting, scouting and academic development.

Mays played at Tulsa from 2003-07, where she was a three-year starter and team captain during her senior season. She graduated from Tulsa with a degree in exercise and sport science in 2007.
