Enjoyed a stellar playing career at Ankeny HS...named first-team all-state in volleyball after helping Ankeny win Class 4A state championship...also named elite all-state...named to the Class 4A All-Tournament team after posting 49 kills and 40 digs in three matches...finished with 18 kills and 17 digs in win over Iowa City West in championship...finished senior year with 308 kills, hitting .353...also had 157 digs and 59 total blocks...also served 93.4 percent with 43 aces on the season...as second team All-State in 2008 in helping Ankeny win the state title...also a member of the Iowa Power Volleyball Alliance club team...also was listed on the AVCA's 2009 Watch List for the state of Iowa.
