Brianna (Lichty) Johnson is entering her third year with the Coyote volleyball staff. She previously served as the graduate assistant for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, before being promoted to the director of operations.
Johnson, a native of Huron, South Dakota, spent three seasons as the team manager at the University of Minnesota, where she graduated in the spring 2021 with a bachelors in sports management. During her time with the Gophers the team won the 2018 Big Ten Championship, went to the 2019 Final Four and the 2020 Sweet 16.
Johnson, who also has club coaching experience with Mizuno M1 Volleyball, graduated from USD with masters degree in communication leadership and administration in the spring.
