GOODYEAR, AZ -- Jesse Talcott, a sophomore from The University of South Dakota, finished tied for 33rd at the NCAA Division II Men's Northwest Regional held May 6-8 at the Estrella Mount Ranch Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
Talcott of Sioux Falls, S.D., finished with a three-round total of 245 (90-81-74) at the regional. Talcott competed individually because the USD Golf team just missed qualifying.
Andy Stumpf of Northern Colorado (75-69-77) and Scott Larter of Adams State (71-77-73) took medallist honors at the regional with three-round scores of 221. Colorado-CO Springs won the team competition with a total of 893 (289-301-303).
