SIOUX FALLS, S.D.â€"Fourth-ranked North Dakota State scored touchdowns on seven of its 12 possessions and limited South Dakota to 76 yards of offense in a 54-0 win at Howard Wood Field Saturday evening.

Bison quarterback Brock Jensen ran for two touchdowns and threw for two touchdowns in a little more than three quarters of work. He finished with 195 yards on 15-of-21 passing.

South Dakota accomplished little against the nation's best defense. North Dakota State limited USD to four first downs while forcing 10 punts and two turnovers. The Coyotes' longest and most efficient drive came on their opening possession when the team gained 23 yards on five plays.

Marcus Sims led South Dakota with 33 yards rushing on eight carries. Quarterback Josh Vander Maten threw for 59 yards on 10-of-19 passing.
